AUBURN, Ala. - On Sept. 23, 2025, Auburn Police arrested Brian Scott Kingsley, age 66, residing in Opelika, Alabama, charging him with two counts of sodomy first degree and one count of sexual abuse first degree.

The arrest stems from Auburn Police receiving a report of a sexual assault on Sept. 16, 2025. Officers met with a victim who reported that an acquaintance subjected the victim to multiple acts of sexual assault during Aug. 2025.  The incidents occurred at a location in the 100 block of South Gay Street.

Brian Scott Kingsley was developed as a suspect. After further investigation, Kingsley was arrested for two counts of sodomy first degree and one count of sexual abuse first degree. Kingsley was transported to the Lee County Jail and held without bond pending further judicial review.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
